Hello Melbourne

The Moore’s have finally arrived in Melbourne, although I discovered today that our new suburb, and the location of my new haunt, Deakin University, is actually in the city of Whitehorse, which explains all the white horse headsrinted on the bus stops and rubbish bins. I’ve got a new office and finally an Internet connection, I am still glad on choosing the wifi version of the iPad but some 3G coverage would be nice while my ISP talks to Telstra. Living in a big city is going to take some time to adjust too and much of the local culture seems inexplicable.
